A sandwich is pretty
much a perfect meal. Sandwich
ingredients come in a wide variety so you can make many different types of
sandwiches that include whole grains, protein, and vegetables or fruits. They
also are automatically portion controlled, with one sandwich being a sensible
amount for one meal. Because sandwiches
offer the three fundamentals of meal planning (balance of basic food types,
variety within each food type, and moderation of amount), you might want to
include more (and more types of) sandwiches in your meal planning.
